Privacy Policy

Last updated October 16, 2026

Interpreter Bench (interpreterbench.com) is operated by Comanche Bluff Trading, LLC, Round Rock, Texas. This page explains what information the site handles. The short version: there are no accounts, no advertising and no third-party analytics; your study progress stays in your browser; we only hold an email address if you give us one.

What stays on your device

Your exam choice, exam date, answers, scores, flagged questions, flashcard progress, theme and (if you buy Full access) your license key are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them, and "Reset all progress" in the app clears the study data.

What we store

WhenWhatWhy and for how long

Payments

Purchases are made through Stripe Managed Payments, under which Stripe (shown as "Link") is the merchant of record. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details, processes the payment and sales tax, and emails you the receipt. Its privacy policy covers that data. We receive the order details listed above and email you the license key; we never see your card number.

Cookies

The site sets cookies only when you activate Full access: three "CloudFront" cookies that tell our content delivery network you may download the paid question files. They are strictly functional, last up to 30 days and are renewed by the app. There are no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. If we add privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor statistics in the future we will say so here.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers needed to run the site, acting on our instructions: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email delivery) and Stripe (payments). We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We would disclose information if the law required it.

Your choices

Email hello@interpreterbench.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to leave the waitlist. We answer within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (for example the EU, UK or California), those rights apply and the same address is the way to exercise them.

Children

The site is for adults preparing for a professional examination and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
