Terms of Service

Last updated October 16, 2026

1. Who we are

Interpreter Bench (the "Service", at interpreterbench.com) is operated by Comanche Bluff Trading, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@interpreterbench.com or by mail at 110 I-35 N Frontage Rd, Suite 315-965, Round Rock, TX 78681.

The Service is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), the Texas Judicial Branch Certification Commission, any other state certification body or any court. The practice questions were written for this Service and are not taken from any real examination.

2. The service

The Service provides practice material for the court interpreter written examination: practice questions with explanations, timed mock exams, flashcards and progress tracking. It runs in your web browser. No account is created; your progress is stored in your browser on your device (see the Privacy Policy). Clearing your browser data removes it.

By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Free plan

The free plan includes the official sample questions published by the courts, a selection of our practice questions, mock exams drawn from that selection, the flashcard decks and the progress tools. We may change what the free plan includes at any time.

4. Full access

What you get. Full access is a one-time purchase that unlocks the complete practice question bank, mock exams drawn from the complete bank, and the review tools across it, for 12 months from the date of purchase. Updates to the question bank during that period are included.

License key. After purchase you receive a license key by email. Entering it in the Service grants access in that browser for 30 days at a time and renews automatically while your license is valid. The key is for your personal use. You may use it on the devices you personally study on; it may not be shared, resold or published. Keys that are shared beyond personal use, or used at a scale that indicates sharing, may be deactivated.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Managed Payments, under which Stripe (shown as "Link" at checkout and on your receipt) acts as the merchant of record. Stripe's and Link's terms and privacy policies apply to the checkout and payment, including sales tax, receipts and card processing. We do not see or store your card details.

Price. The price is shown at checkout before you pay. Prices may change; a change does not affect a purchase already made.

5. Refund policy

If Full access is not what you expected, email hello@interpreterbench.com from the address you used at checkout within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the purchase in full. No reason is needed.

After 14 days, purchases are not refundable. A refund deactivates the license key. We may decline a refund where the key has been shared or used in a way that violates section 4.

Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days. A refund deactivates the license key.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Service to prepare for your own examination. You may not copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish or sell the practice questions, explanations or flashcards; use automated tools to access the Service; attempt to bypass the access controls; or use the Service in a way that interferes with its operation or with other users.

The practice questions, explanations, flashcards, design and code of the Service are owned by us and protected by copyright. The official sample questions reproduced on the Service belong to the courts and bodies that published them and are attributed and linked to their sources.

7. Content and accuracy

We work to keep the practice material accurate and aligned with the published exam format, and we review every problem report. Still, the material is written by people, court procedure differs between states and the rules change. The Service is a study aid, not legal advice or an official statement of any examination's content. Passing a practice test does not guarantee passing the real examination. For requirements, dates, fees and rules, rely on your state's certification body.

8. Availability and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the outcome of any examination.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms. When we make a material change to the terms we will update the date at the top of this page and, where we can, note it on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. If we ever discontinue the Service while you have an active Full access license, we will refund the unused portion of your term.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before filing anything, please email us; most problems can be fixed in a day.
